Those 'quarter page' sig links are irritating - IMHO. In the responses above the sig part of the post is significantly bigger than the post itself. Is it really necessary? If it starts a trend threads will become unwieldy.

I have seen you have a go a newbies if they post incorrectly, just a post, not an advert. And here you are advertising in every post.

Perhaps you should only be allowed to post in the advertising forum

It's a step too far IMHO and seems to be a free for all for mods and no one else

If Ray has allowed mods extended sig area then that is NOT my fault. Take it up with him NOT me.

Any issue I take up with anyone, new or not, are to do with forum rules and guidance from Ray.

BTW guys if you hadnt noticed, check out other people's sig area. Because they use larger font, coloured font, hyperlinks, etc this allows them less character space. If you measure the actual space compared to some, there is not much difference.

The fact is how I have displayed it is just making more use of what is available to me but using the same space, so using a smaller font in black makes it look more than how I have previously displayed it.

Ref mods I wasnt aware we had more sig space. No doubt someone will confirm but then again, if we do its because of the perks for what we do here 7 days a week.
