RSS Feed For A1 Business Forum

If forgot to mention that Khaild set up the RSS Feed for the Forum last week - if you use a feed reader you might want to subscribe:

There is also a link to the Feed in the Forum Footer

I might have to pick your brains on this Ray as it's the one thing I have struggled with doing on my forum and I'm not sure I have it set correctly!

Hi Toni

Login to your VB Admin:

vBulletin options -> external data provider

Enable RSS: Yes

The default options are fine for most sites

Once done, your RSS will be available at http://www.yourdomain.co.uk/forum/ex....php?type=RSS2

Do I then need to add a button somewhere for people (like the little orange RSS button I see around) and will it already exclude all private areas on the site?

VB will auto add the RSS feeds into the <head> section of your code - In firefox, they appear as little rss icons in my address bar.

You could add a link to the rss feed by modifying one of your templates.
