alternative is to get a free skin and adjust it to look unique (the design elements). There is a teal one in the middle here and am assuming it is stable because it is from vbulletin but haven't looked at the version or whether fluidor static width http://www.vbulletin-faq.com/skins-styles.htm

I am a member of a forum that gives you a choice of themes and colours that you can alter in your control panel thingie. Is that complicated? Yes, I expect it probably is...

No Ali it's easy, once there is more than one skin uploaded you can opt to let members choose which one they see.
