Email notification

When I was over there I used to get emails telling me when anyone replied to threads I had posted in. Think I have ticked the right boxes in my cp but dont seem to be getting any??

Any ideas ?

I got a glut of them in my inbox all at once. Email notification was on by default. Mebbe it's slow?
*toddles over to CP to turn off email notifications*

By default the forum is set when you join to send you one email per day about subscribed threads and instant email notification of PM's.

You can change these defaults to suit your needs in "User CP"

I have been informed (and noticed myself) that some forum emails are getting trapped in spam filters - we are looking into that now

I set it to instant email notification when I signed up but haven't received one email yet.

Do I have to subscribe to the thread or is this done automatically when I post in it ?

Can I also remind about the little icon thing that appears in the title bar....hard to find when you have lots of windows open

It should be set up so when you post in it you are subscribed.

Make sure you have selected to receive site emails as well as being subscribed.

Goto your USERCP, down to list subscriptions and see if there are any posts indexed on the right hand side.

You are subscribed to threads you post in automatically - see user CP for your subscribed threads. Emails *may* be getting blocked by a spam filter as per above - we are looking into it

I think you are talking about an avatar (mini logo) - there is a massive amount of work going on with branding ATM and it will be rolled out - but it will be a few weeks yet

In my cp I have it set to "send instant email notification" I have checked my email and thats is Ok?

Is it just me having this problem which would then point to something my end ?
