I'm now leaning back towards #4 but:

• I think "A1" should be reduced in size by about 25 - 35%
• The colours are still too bright (for the skin) and need more contrast - at least as dark as version 2.1 but preferably a bit darker still
• Not at all keen on the font used for "Business Forum" - my favourite font from these drafts is v1 - more business like
• Agreed it should be "Forums" to match the url in use

IMO...If the No1 logo is plummed for I think it may limit the possible global audience / membership?

That's why I'm leaning back to #4 Pete - the UK map is restrictive - but a globe would be naff

I went for 4 because of the shaking hands image - that's what will make A1 different from other business forums imo, the friendly support.

Will play around with colours. This is normally a secondary process unless the project required a colour match but I didn't think that this was the case.

Yes, totally agree. We can play around with it or create a unique font which is more business like.
