2 franchises one bank account

Hi i am new to the forum. My name is Sue and i run a cleaning franchise. If i were to take over another area would i need to open a seperate bank account or could i use the existing one as the 2 businesses would be run from same office using same telephone numbers etc

But yes, I don't see a problem why not but I always prefer one of our excellent accountants here on A1 to pop along and confirm your options.

If its part of the same franchise I don't see any issues with this. You may have to look through your franchise agreement and speak to the franchisor though as they may be stipulations on running individual sets of accounts for seperate territories. If they have no objection then I don't see it being an issue.

As Indy said though probably wise to consult an accountant aswell :-)
