    Default forum user names

OK so someone is going to be doing some internet promotion activity for me including on some business forums, some I use and some I don't.

Now I don't want them logging in to my own account where I have one already, but want to retain the business name as the username but of course, make it clear it's not actually me personally posting.

So do I set them up with a username such as Indizine2, 3 etc? would that confuse things you think? Any other ideas?

Why not have C/O Indizine? It ties the work as done for you, but not as/by you...

I would make them use their own names. If they use yours and screw up in some way, you are associated with them forever. If you just put sig links in, you can disown them if they fail.

Also, would you be happy if I set up a user name, benr123a, benr123b to promote my site on this forum?

We have a lifetime association anyway so I will never be disowning them, and I have considered the trust aspect but then, that goes for whomever you hire to work for you.

You have to trust that the work they do on your behalf will not be compromised; every employer takes this risk.

Also, i'm taking about using the business name that is traceable via the profile. The profile would also contain their own details, name, dob, even a photo.

OK, I misunderstood this a little. So your mate, say, Fred, is going to help promote Indizine. Why can't his username be Fred123 and in his profile just link to Indizine? There would be no confusion there.

I don't know enough about code, but would the boards pick up Fred@Indzine wrongly, or would this be an alternative to c/o?
