Free Prize Draw Terms and Condition:
1) By entering this draw your email address will be automatically subscribed to the Fill-Your-Pants newsletter mailing list- however you may unsubscribe at any time
2) Only one (1) entry is allowed per person
3) The winner will be drawn by an independent person at random from all entries from both the Loughborough and Oadby Fairs
4) The prize includes a pack of 12 Mint Zorbit Muslin Cloths, 4 Bambinex Bamboo fitted nappies with Aplix fastening (size and colour of your choice- white or cream), and a pack of 3 Nappi Nippas (choice of Blue, Purple or white)
5) The winner will be notified by email, if for any reason the winning email address bounces the email (more than 3 times in one day) a new winner will be chosen at random the following day.
6) If the prize is not claimed within 28 days, a new winner will be selected at random.
7) There is no cash alternative

I'm not an expert Laura - but I'm not sure about automatically opting someone into your emailing list - hopefully someone can clarify this point - as opt-in rules are pretty strict. It's easy online using autoresponders which prove the recipient opted in.
I think if you keep proof that they signed to be opted in by entering the draw you are ok though..

Thanks Fuzzy Some of them only apply to a web-based competition though, which mine isn't, and the purpose of running it is to get people on the mailing list so I need to include that somehow?

See above suggestion - you just need to prove they opted in (written proof in this instance instead of auto responder) if they complain you spammed them later on
