Default Average cost of electricity unit 2007

Does anyone happen to know what the average cost of a unit of electricity was in 2007?

I might be able to help you here - the was a massive wholesale price crash in April 2007 and has escillated ever since then.

If you're an average business the day rate would probably be about 7-8p/ KwH during the day and about 5-6 during the evening.

Remember there are other costs to take into account - Standing charge, VAT and CCL (if you use more than 12,000 KwH a year).

Hope this Helps!
