There are a lot of opportunities available on net. Chose the right one in which you are good at, don't run after the money, do always quality work because it's direct proportional to more potential clients and profit.

Anyhow, you can start your business as legal consultant, real agent, accounting services, consumer electronics, web designing and creation etc.

This is a slightly ridiculous question. You should be asking yourself questions like: Where do your expertise lie? Where do your interests lie? What knowledge do you have about products or markets?
These should be the questions that guide you; there is NO WAY that you can become an online legal consultant without some legal expertise, for example.

If your going to sell stuff on the internet, and going to build a website from scratch, do not sell items that change quickly or will become outdated, like electronics, the reason is you wont have any customers at first, and everything you try and sell will be outdated before you have decent amounts of traffic.

One thing you can do is sell other peoples items for a referral fee if you want, then your initial cost is very low, try drop shippers or any website that has affiliates, you would be surprised to find that many large companies will simply pay you 4 pounds for every buying customer you send their way.

In order for me to make a living on my website I need to have about 200 customers a day, I am just over 100 a day now, that has taken me sixty hours a week for just over a year now to build that up, doing it on a budget. I am hoping to make enough to be able to live off of it in three months, and I assume after that I will be able to start putting my money back in the bank.

Can you invest that much time? I figure my venture has cost me approximately 30 000 pounds so far. Which is mostly just my living expenses and purchasing whole sale t-shirts for the last year. Trust me I have been living on a very low budget.

Anything that people are making money on on the web you can do, but you will have to do it better if you want to get their customers, look for something you personally would like to do because that is probably all your going to be doing for a very long time.

There is an incredible amount of time involved in making a website popular, you are going to have to plan on at least a year on a new URL before you see any real traffic.

Honestly if you want to do it, just start now, I started three websites before the one I have now, never made a penny off them, but they were not mistakes because I learned so much from doing them.

Good Luck !

I am afraid I have to sound a note of caution. If you want to succeed in business you need to be driven.

Asking others this very basic question worries me for you. Where are your skills? What are your interests?

You can make money selling stationary on line. Please do not attempt to do this, as the idea did not arise from you. Starting your own business is not the easy option.

Default You need an idea!?

Go with what you know and enjoy.

Try to imagine what you'll enjoy doing in 5 years' time. The last thing you'll need is to start something you THINK you like then get bored/fed up/frustrated early on; if that happens you're just wasting your time in the first place really.
