I couldn't find a thread regarding this, so thought I'd bring it to attention and put a link so anyone who wants to can check it out.

Is anyone entering?

The Start-Up Stars Awards culminates with a glittering black-tie event at London's Dorchester Hotel on October 29, where the UK's top new businesses will hope to be crowned 'Start-Up Star 2008' and to walk away with a cheque for £50,000, courtesy of HSBC.
The business scooping the Green Award and demonstrating they are putting the environment at the top of their business agenda will also receive a cheque for £5,000.

The regional heats, which generate 50 Regional Winners, seek entries from all over the UK. A panel of business experts will then select the top 10 new businesses to fly the flag for their region in the National Finals.
Each National Finalist will win £2,500 of Google AdWords credits, with the Overall Winner and the Green Award Winner scooping £5,000 of AdWords plus a trip to Google's London Offices.

Your business needs to be less than 3 years old to enter.
