I dont think that is the case. Even in your post No sale Site.!!!!!!!

You have said

" Inspite of being highly ranked for things computer in the Kent area it attracts very little sales or repair jobs."

I beleive the reason for the above quote is because of poor design, which puts people off.

But I believe that SEO and Design of the website are both ranked together as the most important not one of the other otherwise you are going to have one of the following

1. You can have a great looking site but bad SEO so you are not found in Search Engines.

2. Great SEO so always at the top but a pony website, people could think that you are a fly by with a cheap tacky website.

well I think there is a particular problem with computer repairs Tommy.

And I suspect the general public is drawn to the likes of PC world and the other Big players allied to the prices being offered for new computers making old ones hardly worth repairing.

I have plenty of other ugly sites that are highly successfull.

So I stand by the statement that in general the public don't care what a site looks like except in design and graphic type sites.
