i do a big mileage, and have no option but to continue as my business is UK wide, and I live in a rural location. The rise in fuel prices is costing me a fortune, and the government still want me to believe that the cost of living is rising at just 3 to 4 percent. I would say more like 15% at the moment.

Fuel prices are just getting ridiculous especially diesel. I remember when diesel used to be cheaper than petrol.

I wonder, quietly, if Gordon Brown is just laughing at the extra revenue he is getting, and probably quite oblivious to the hardship being created
