Astroturfers - there's a new term that I hadn't heard of
The BBC defines these as people who purport to support grass roots activities when in fact they are artificial and for commercial benefit Read the article here about the new laws that are coming in to play to clamp down on these activities. The only challenge now is bringing a successful prosecution to the table as the staff tasked with monitoring this already have a full workload. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/business/7287413.stm
