What can I do apart from SEO for site promotion?

I am trying and seeking all possible ways to promote my site and also found a company doing seo for site Trade.Meritline, but now can not just rest. So what other ways except SEO can be used to promote a site online. Thanks in advance.

Could you try to align yourself as a subject matter expert? Produce articles, advice etc contribute to forums that kind of thing

Pay per click would be a great choice provided that you have a budget...

Arleigh's comment about budget is valid, although it applies to everything on the list. With pay per click it would need to be spent wisely so as not to duplicate the efforts of your SEO people - no point in being good on natural optimisation and paying again on ppc!
