Who here is a member of the FSB? Is it worth it? Have you had any reason to call upon any of their services? What did you think of it?

I joined to access to the low merchant account deal/rates, so saved money straight away. I also used one of their advice lines for a query, which proved useful.

We are members of it but have never called on their services. However, it does provide good peace of mind knowing that you have their backing should you need it.

Have been a member for a number of years.

No complaints they are helpful and knowledgeable. I think that the membership fee is worth it for piece of mind if your company ever needed a legal team for whatever issues and we also have three free business accounts as part of the membership...so it pays for it's self.

Most people also forget about the networking potential, which we are lax at taking up due to time constraints but would be worth it.

I am a member, I wish I'd known about the merchant accounts before I joined - could have saved me a lot of money, oh well! I just got a mobile credit card terminal at a good rate and there are all sorts of other benefits like a fuel card, credit card etc etc

There is also the FPB - Forum of Private Business.

Membership gives you their Employment and H&S manuals, which are an excellent resource for anyone with employees. Highly recommended.

Have used the advice line once. It was an employment issue, and I found myself talking to the Chairman of a Tribunal - but wearing his other hat. First rate advice.
