Is there any chance to get the information of unlisted phone numbers?
Hi! I am currently working in an international call centre as an HRM. I had a query for my job work. Actually I want the information of unlisted phone numbers for contacting the people who hasn’t mentioned their contact numbers in their resumes, so that I can call each and every listed and unlisted person who are eligible for the required post. So if someone knows any kind of source to retrieve the information of unlisted phone numbers please let me know.
Thanks in advance!
I can't believe people would leave contact details of a resume. Really? If they have a preferred method, e.g. e-mail, then surely the ethical thing to do would be to e-mail them as they request...?
No-one who is worthy employing - should leave off their contact phone number. That said, I would not be best pleased if I purposely left it off and you traced my phone number via my address and then rang me. Contactin by email to request it would be fine.
Clearly if you have had applicants they will have their contact details on the CV but if they left them off entirely you should not consider employing them IMO. Attention to detail should be important in any job.
However there is one other reason contact details are left off - when they have been submitted to a recruitment agency who then removes the details before sending on to an emplolyer. But with the candidate's permission of course, as that is standard procedure naturally. However they can charge you if you hire that person within a certain time period, if they supplied you with the CV in the first place.
I think you will find that your ethics of data retrieval should be considered here and if you are a call centre I imagine you have a name to protect, perhaps a brand one even.
It would also be so much easier, quicker and cheaper to send a letter to each one asking them to contact you if still interested.
