Thumbs up Printer Ink More Expensive than Gas?

Do you notice that printer ink is one of the most expensive things in the world in terms when you break down how much it costs per milliliter?

Someone calculated the cost of the ink at...............
(you won't believe it....but it is true........)
$5,200 a gal. (five thousand two hundred dollars)

sure is black gold .

I am surprised there are not more conversions to allow larger capacity containers to feed the printers.

I have a B&W laser £10 for a refill does 6,000 pages.

and an epson 925 again cartridges are pennies.

yet i threw away a Lexmark cartridges £27 each.
