ITV buys Google!!
Well sadly, it didn't.
But I was intrigued to read that Carlton (who merged with Granada to form ITV) were offered Google for £400m several years ago and declined! Instead they bought a 25% stake in the then Ask Jeeves.* That has to rank as one of the worst investment decisions in history! *Source "The Sunday Times"
