Not sure if anyone saw me, but I was interviewed by BBC news channel on Friday about Google being 10 years old. The interview was live intially at 4:45 , then went out a couple of time later that day
It was a bit spooky and nerve racking but is great free publicity, especially as I am going to be getting a back link

Now that's marketing you cannot buy....
well done sir, look forward to seeing the interview (does it come with subtitles for your english speaking audience )
Nice one, well done! Did they approach you out the blue for this or do you have contact there already?
It came out of the blue. they did some research dug me up, checked me out and approached me.
The interview was hard though as it went out live, I was in Cardiff the interviewer in London, i could only hear him speaking not see him, and they didn't tell me what the questions would be. it was the usual, google have come a long way since starting in a garage, haven't they? Do you think they envisaged world dominance when they first started? What made Google such a success, THEN came THIS question out of the blue. " The Google motto is do no evil, but can we really trust google? " B******S
I fielded it by saying that this week google released a new web browser, and the the End user licensing agreement stated that all the content posted online was automatically licenced to google to use it as they saw fit in any way. I mentioned that bloggers went nuts, and that within a few days, google changed their Terms of use EULA. So people should draw their own conclusions
They then asked me a bit about the future of google and i said it was personal search and graphical information services such as maps, local, earth and street level.
Apparently now i am a 'Talking Head' (Thought that was a rock band), so they will use me again.
well you must be feeling pretty proud of yourself for being head hunted like that! I would!!
This is Gods truth, Tracey had to convince me to say yes, As it was Lottie's (our 9yr old daughter) first day back in ballet class, and i promised her I would take her to class. family first for me, but Tracey said Lottie would understand, and indeed apparently she was bouncing around like a lunatic when i came on. I rushed back from Cardiff so i could pick her up from class though
