Facebook - Fan or Group

OK, at the risk of sounding a bit dumb

, when trying to promote a business should it be a Fan page or Group. Does it really matter?

Just looking for a few opinions......

Hi Kate - that's an easy one to answer - do both. Most of us here who use Facebook have both - I certainly do

Thanks. I didn't even know that you had two choices. Will go and have a look.

While we are on this subject (sorry of HJ) can you nice people advise how one can actively market the business via Facebook.

Any success stories out there?
