Looking for an accountant

Hello,

I currently have an accountant but am not very happy with the service they are providing so thought I would start looking for a more competent accountant. I am interested to hear if anyone has any recommendations for me. I run a Christmas season online business and only actively trade during September to December. I am Ltd and also VAT registered. I maintain my books but im looking for an accountant that can provide me tax advice and submit our tax returns. Any recommendations would be appreciated. I am based in Surrey.

It seems that more and more clients want a good reliable service for a fixed fee and are not too bothered about having an accountant on "the doorstep". In fact in numerous cases this is often just what they do not want!
