Nicky, if it is not SEO friendly, pointless spending 5 seconds on it pet :sad1:, trust me, I know from experience.
Get the money and spend it on a good website that is SEO friendly

Al you are talking to an expert here, If a website cannot be altered to make it SEO friendly because of the way it is built, no point whatsoever, I know from experience. Don't get me going on this one

Your talking to an old expert here,If you want to make a bob or two.

You design a site that is SEO compliant from the foundations up,Not alter an existing site to be SEO friendly.

The world and alls its inhabitants don't give a toss what your site looks like, provided you have what they want.

Oh bejasus! I'm thinking of having a go at building my own site Al- what do you mean by building a site from the foundations up to make it SEO friendly? I'm confused, help me! Maybe you could tell me what makes a site SEO hostile for starters...the more I read, the more scared I get!

Old expert quite clearly

My sentiments exactely, if you want a site that is SEO friendly it is easier to build from the beginning. I have had four sites ()that have had bum all SEO stuff in them and therefore unable to build on, hence a new site.

So Al, you wanna fight with a Fuzzy friend

OK I am talking about the structure of the site in so far as it presents information to the SE's.

As an example I will take a page from your site ( hope you don't mind )?

search engine reads :

0800 8496 201 Home Products Design Design Portfolio FAQ's About Us Contact Us Shipping/ Delivery Site Map Print files Design Portfolio  We are currently awaiting permission from former customers to display their flyer designs here. It's only polite to ask after all!   All rights reserved Powered by Microsoft Office Live Small Business

From this page http://premierpds.co.uk/DesignPortfolio.aspx

OK so you can see there is not much relevant information there about what you do,and the large graphic is wasted as the info on it is unreadable by the SE's also very little information for it to read.

Alvin

So if I get this right then there is no point trying to make my site SEO friendly, as it should be straight from scratch.

From what I gather and have been told/advised my meta tags/data thing on each page etc are not there and I also have odd coding floating around.

I admit that I have not been building up my links and this needs to be done, however my site has been submitted to all the search engines but it still seems to be invisible.

Arh right- excuse my naivety here Al and I'm really grateful for your advice. I'm hoping to totally rebuild my site, just unsure of how to go about the SEO bit. I've just done a course in Dreamweaver but I'm still at proper basic level so your words of wisdom are priceless. So it's all about content and since search engines can't read images, it's more about the written content that they can read? I guess that's why bad people hide content to blend into background colours etc huh? Mmm, I'm a little bit wiser already!
