I need 10 lanyards made - does anyone do such small quantities?

Jee ... presume you want yours personalising but if not I can recommend this company ... although 10 won't be cheap

What do you need on the Lanyards? Are they all same design?

For this kind of quantity you would be limited on designs to text and logos on probably a 20cm area either side and this would be onto a white base. You could have proper woven lanyards made but I am guesing you want to keep the cost low.

Fuzzy - you will find lanyards at Transferpress but they are a pain to work with.

Need the lanyards blue with white text of company name on it. Safety release catch too

I just don't need hundreds of them!

You'll have to pay top whack for that on just 10 and be hard pushed to find anyone able to do it. It probably won't cost much more to do 100 once the costs come in.
