Quotes needed for web design, logo design, flyer printing, embroidered tabard

Hi all

My Mum has decided to set up her own cleaning business due to a gap in the market here for an honest reliable service.

She is applying for some funding from the council and needs to supply them with quotes. If anyone would quote for the following that would be great:

• 3 Page website, basic.
• Logo design
• Flyer design
• Embroidered with company logo tabard x 5

As I am related to her I'm not allowed to design the logo so I will have to place this most important task in one of your capable trusted hands!

Apparantly as I am family there is a conflict of interest. I could just do her one for free though but i thought if the funding is there why not give the work to one of you lovely A1 designers

I would recommend saving the money on the website and spending it elsewhere like flyer printing. For a simple 3-page website I would recommend a keyword rich local domain (e.g. cleaner-areaX.co.uk) and a free service from Microsoft Office Live - but purchase the domain separately from a domain registrar like www.123-reg.co.uk (more flexibility in the future if you outgrow the Microsoft offering).

Examples of sites using Microsoft Office Live include this car polishing site, and Nickie (PremierPDS on this forum) used to use Microsoft Office Live too.

Please don't do that. Microsoft Office Live sites are some of the worst 'easy' build sites that I've come across and although they're free can do more damage then good to a company brand.

If you're Mum is looking for a more economical option, then she could try finding a nice CSS template online (theres plenty of really professional ones available) and paying a site designer a small amount to get her content in there. I'm sure theres plenty of designers on here who'd be more than happy to help.
