Not sure if it applies to farcebook but a fair few of these sites will compress the hell out of your logo so it looks really poor.
I always take the image properties from an existing one at full size and design for that.![]()

I tried that too Eagle and it made absolutely no difference whatsoever...the conclusion I came to in the end is the same as yours- Facebook automatically compresses the image so I guess I'll just have to live with it tut!

Have you managed to resolve this issues since the original post, as from your link the logo does not look un-clear or blurry now?
Yes, I've since changed the logo to make it square which FB seems to like better than the original one!

Maybe it's too late, but have you tried doing your logo in a vector-based drawing program? Like Illustrator or Corel Draw? Photoshop is a "bitmap" processing and manipulation program, whereas Illustrator and Corel Draw use mathematical calculations. Your image will always look sharp no matter how big you make it!
