    Default Upgraded to DW/FW CS4

    Hi Guys

took the plunge and updated from CS3 to CS4 today.

Only had a quick look, but is it just me or is there NO DIFFERENCE (apart from one or two graphics and a little layout fiddle) between the too?

Anyone got a link to the comparisions, i canny find one anywhere?

    Regards
    Daren

The only thing I found was a forum thread. Most people seem to agree theres not much difference!

I found more difference in Photoshop (which is a weapon of choice for a photographer)

there's little you can do with CS4 that you couldn't do with CS3, and the latter seems a bit faster and more memory efficient in some respects.

    I think its more productivity.

I run CS4 on a intel imac and it seems a lot quicker.

I think Fireworks CS4 is a big step up from CS3. It seems to handle text a little differently. There's also PDF export in CS4 but that may or may not be useful and I've not been able to get it working.
I don't use Dreamweaver any more as I code websites in a PHP editor but I do use Flash CS4 which is much nicer (in terms of its interface) than CS3.

I agree, I see no difference what so ever from CS3 to CS4. Maybe more ram and CPU hogging but thats about it.

Still something I'm wondering, whether it's worth going from CS3 to CS4. Just doesn't really seem to be that many new features in the software, but I do find FW a bit buggy on Vista. Haven't made the plunge yet, but I think might have to do it at some stage. Wonder when a new version is due?
