I rather like it, it's just the issue with the huge white space on the left.
I don't agree about the skyscrapers I'm afraid, the furniture looks designed for modern living which suits the skyscraper feel rather than countryside floral look.

There has been some mention of skyscrapers, either that they look out of place, or they look in place, or they make the image too dark. Personally I thought they did make the image too dark and they looked a bit out of place, a clash of branding, skyscrapers don't go with my idea of Holland and the word Dutch (although I know there are places like Rotterdam that do have skyscrapers), skyscrapers for me conjure up the usual places like New York, and the usual associations with finance and business more than home design. I also don't think that the building in your logo is supposed to be a skyscraper so there might be a brand clash there too.
One option is to take the skyscrapers out of the picture, and perhaps replace them with something else e.g.:
1a.
1b.
1c.
1d.
1e.
These are just knocked up mock-ups, you would have to spend more time making the final image look right, e.g. better anti-aliasing, adding colour to the reflection on the table. The skyscraper image replacement doesn't have to be sky, it could be countryside, a sea view, a garden, etc. Hopefully this image in question is worth going to the trouble to in order to improve it. If it is just an image taken from a stock photography library and it doesn't feature any of your products that you stock, then I would suggest that perhaps you should consider using a better more relevant image.
There has also been some mention of white space. I think that the blank sale area will look better once it is populated with some content, news item headlines, recent blog headlines, etc, but originally my thought was that the sale white space area wasn't the main issue, the main issue was the non-white space parts.
As Sam has already mentioned, in design and composition white space is your friend, not something you should always focus on filling. If you want to see a funny video about design, something for a Friday afternoon, have a look at:
