Default Analytics - which do you use?

I would be interested to know what website analytics package members use on their website as their package of choice.

A couple well known are Google Analytics and Statcounter. Another is Web CEO. There are plenty more, so which one do you use, and why is it your package of choice?

    PS. We use Google Analytics.

Google analytics is amazing imo, the amount of detail it seems to collect is incredible!

I have found some very interesting things out with it.

Some of the most useful features imo include the page overlay so you can actually see which links are clicked most on a page, the goals feature which will help keep track of specific things you can set and the in depth links in/out information,

Ii must confess i have only used a free limited statcounter, and a long time ago, but never got on with it

    I second that.

I use Analyics and bbclone - problem I found with Google is that it doesnt include ALL visits and you can only get an accurate count of todays visitors tomorrow...

I have had a custom built stats package that ties in all server logs etc etc and calculates stats which in turn at the end of the month shoots my clients an email and PDF.

And also gives me (and clients) stats on demand.

I (personally) dislike GA. It's very rare I use Google's products in my own personal sites.

I use Mint on a couple of sites, but more often I'm using Google Analytics because it's free, and brilliant.

Agreed very suspicious of google's products.

often don't seem to tie up with the real world.

Someone here recently pointed to clicky, and it was spot on for me. Great analysis, good features, immediate feedback, I loved it, so I bought it!
