Create Image

Hi, can anyone be an absolute star and tell me how to create an image? I want to do a navigation bar in dreamweaver and you have to insert images. I've done a red button with text over the top in Word and I want to make it into an image to insert into dreamweaver....

Hello Paula,

Word isn't really the right tool, if you're on windows you already have something called MS Paint. Teaching you how to use it isn't something I could do in a few lines but there seems to be a reasonable tutorial here.

I would not bother with MS paint, gimp is great free bitmap editor (just google gimp).
You should also just make and image background with the mouseover design in one image.
The text should be real text not text in the image and you should use CSS to move the image up and down at the different conditions.
Text editors are often easier for this than DW.
