How TO get WEBsite design project?

Hi, I am a professional website designer. I am working at a reputed website designing company. Few days back I opened a new website and SEO Company. I am offering precious web solutions at cheap rates. But i getting some domestic projects. I am willing to get more projects. Could any one tell me from where or how i can be able to get projects?

I'm puzzled that you would build a website and start a company without knowing the viability of your market and how best to exploit it...

Are you offering 'precious web solutions' or 'cheap rates'? One contradicts the other, and you need to decide on your target market. Is price or quality the most important factor for them?

You should definately put together a portfolio, we get a lot of our clients simply because they liked what they saw in our portfolio....

Become an authority and develop presence in your specific industry niche. Write blogs and articles about your niche so that people recognize you and give credence to your opinion. People tend to give work to the recognized face in the industry as compared to the unrecognized and the unknown.

Elance is a good place to look around at, and so are the other freebie lance places setup. My SIL does this type of work and only freelances online for her wages, she makes a buckload! I need her secrets.
