hey all

if u click my sig and got to stores u will see i have created and added a store map (or wat i hope looks like one and yes it is a lil crpa as unsure how to mkae it look clearer) anyway i am trying to layer writing on top of the jpeg so can make it a link which will opne more info in a frame at bottom of screen to be added but it doesnt seem to be working . when i layer the writing goes off to the left and doesnt stay where the layer box is. if it helps i using dream 8

Can't remember the exact details but layers in dreamweaver always align to the left so if you have the page centred, the text won't line up right- we were always told not to use layers if we'd centred the page for this reason. Not sure if this is the problem you're having but may be worth a try..........
