Default Audio Player for Wordpress Blog

Anyone happily using an audio player on their Wordpress blog?

There seem to be quite a few plugins avaialble so I've lots of choice but I thought I'd check to see if anyone here is using one they are happy with (or even one they think I should avoid!).

I'm just looking for one that's got the simple play, pause, volume buttons and that streams smoothly.

Also, one that's a breeze to add into a blog post. None of this editing code tags etc....

    Ta

I've never seen one being used (that I remember). I'd just go by the ratings and check out the reviews or topics surrounding certain ones, they're usually pretty reliable.

I'm amazed no one else posted apart from Alex.

This is something I've been meaning to sort out for ages and somehow your post inspired me to give it a go.

I installed WordPress Audio Player http://wpaudioplayer.com/ and it works fine and is easy to use. (I used the 2.0 beta version without problems, there is a 1.x version which also works.) Make sure you use Code view when you enter the tag into your post otherwise WordPress puts some HTML formatting around parts of the tag so it doesn't work.

You can see it in action on my blog here:

I know you said no code tags etc, but there is a really simple way to add audio to wordpress if you are adding a file hosted somewhere else, just by using the one line of code:
    [audio http://wpcom.files.wordpress.com/200...interview.mp3]
All you have to do is put the URL of your track in there instead and it comes out on the front end as a very nice, simple player - which by the way has never failed me yet!

That doesn't work for me (on the latest version of WP), you've probably got a plugin providing that functionality.
