Default Windows XP Logon Screen Problem!

Hi Guy's

Just need some advice on the Windows XP pro logon screen,
Is there a way of remove the email messager counter as its never right I have a few email clients including hotmail and it seems to tally all of them up and its quite iratating when it says at the logon screen you have 14 emails and when you go searching you have none,
I've spoken to a friend who believes there is a registry hack but I've searched on google to no avail,

Your input will be greatfully recieved,

Yes indeed you can.

Download Tweak UI from Microsoft (http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/d...powertoys.mspx). Scroll down and you will see it.

Install it and then select logon in the left column, click on unread mail and uncheck the "show unread mail on welcome screen option". I think.

Alternatively you can change the reg keys yoruself as per this article: http://www.mvps.org/marksxp/WindowsXP/emailui.php

I would have gently grabbed the pc by two hands, being careful not to drop it and then accurately lobbed it out the window , glad you got it sorted

By the way, I have an annoying screen coming up saying "Please reinstall the tablet software" when I open any version of Photoshop.

I installed a wacom tablet and then decided it was a load of rubbish, so uninstalled the software and took the tablet back, but I now get two annoying screens up everytime I open any version of Photoshop. Any idea's guys?

sounds like photoshop feels its still installed mabye try re-installing the tablet and restart pc then uninstall again,
If not would it be too much to uninstall your photoshop and re-install or have you an array of pluggins installed ?
