Is my POP 3 being hacked? Receiving lots of 'Mail Delivery Failure' emails
I'm just wondering if this has happened to anyone else before, since yesterday I have been receiving alot of 'Mail Delivery Failure', 'Delivery Status Notification (Failure)' and 'Undeliverable Mail' emails.
Rather strange as I am not sending them out myself.
Best thing to do is contact your host or email provider. They will look into it from a higher level. Plus the fact that they could be having problems themselves.
We recently had similar problems when our ISP switched from Fujitsu to Synetrix in the Northants EMBC switchover. It often happens when pop3 and smtp addresses have been changed or the DNS to them have not yet been updated.

Ive had exactly the same problem with 3 domains last week, its something thats goign around. Apparently its the domain that is being spoofed and to fix it you need to add an SPF record to the dns settings.
DT, I had same problems for weeks now, I have to contact my email provider/host to get it sorted

Well, why not send as many Christmas ecards as you like for only £5.99, save a fortune, put your company name on the message and be green at the same time
This problem can often be solved by disabling your catch-all email address, which you can usually do easily yourself (depending on your host) in the user configuration area.
