Guys, have I asked this before ?..................me not sure
well, if I did, the issue never got resolved cos it's driving me crazier than normal
Had a wacom tablet on HP Pavillion laptop, didn't like it so got rid - or so I thought .................
Every blumming time I open blumming Photoshop, I get a message box come up saying "Tablet version mismatch - please reinstall the tablet software" and I have to click ok, this message comes up twice and it's soooooooooooooooooooooo annoying.
I have a: reinstalled the tablet software and then uninstalled it again
b: uninstalled Photoshop twice and then reinstalled it
c: ran around the room screaming and
d: came close to throwing said laptop in the bin
Any other options, please guys Fuzzy loves you

Well, why not send as many Christmas ecards as you like for only £5.99, save a fortune, put your company name on the message and be green at the same time
2. Make sure the Wacom is connected *Ignore the errors that you recieve*
3. Start > Run > "services.msc" > ok
4. Maximise this window > scroll down to T
5. Right click "Terminal Services" click properties...
6. With the "Terminal Services properties" open > change startup type to "Automatic" > click apply
7. Now just under "Service Status" click "Start" > then click ok to close the properties.
8. Back in the Services list find "Tablet Service" (although this is automatic it needs to be started because it depends on the aforementioned "Terminal Services" being started first)
9. Like before right click on "Tablet Service" > properties > under Service status click Start > click ok to close the window
Thanks!!!!!!!...................but I don't have that particular wacom tablet anymore

You should be able to completely uninstall the Wacom drivers - check in your control panel to see if they're still there.
I have a tablet but must admit I rarely use it. I'm not great at drawing, and what I want to do I can usually do with deft use of the pen tool
I have checked in my control panel and nothing, zilch, diddily squat, but the error message keeps coming up:sad1:
I bought the £60 tablet, which was just a load of rubbish and then upgraded to the £1K model - soo much better, pay for what you get eh ?
Thanks for replying

Ah yeah - the £60 jobbies are for occassional doodlers and nothing else. I think mine would be the equivalent of the next model up.
Would love a big expensive one, but I'm just a poor developer, so it'll have to wait!
Shame I couldn't help from here. I guess something went wrong in the upgrade.
Simon, thanks for your help, but there is no such file , I even serached the whole C drive
InterconnectIT, you just have to get a big one (stop laughing everyone, Fuzzy being serious)........this is what I have - fab, wicked. I even connected it and configured it all by myself, you'd be proud
