Sorry folks but I think I will be spending a lot of time asking for help, now I am using a laptop!

I think my emails are working okay now, as received over 100 when laptop set up. Problem is that I am used to microsoft express, which is different. I thought that I had answered most of my emails now but when I exit it is telling me that I still have email in my out box!

I have looked everywhere and cannot see where I access my sent mail so have no way of knowing

I also have to go into start and email, whereas with express, there was a little icon on my screen

Sorry for being so darn thick, but its so frustrating when you have to keep asking for help!! Oh, and I thought that I downloaded the spell checker, but that's not working either I am off to find the nearest plug socket now to stick my finger in :sad1:

it sounds like your outgoing server settings are not confirgured correctly Nina,
when you setup your email on outlook goto
Tools>Account Settings
double left click on the account in question
then
tell me what your outgoing server settings are

Yes you were right Simon. It is now sorted Did you receive the hard drive yet? I am waiting with fingers and toes crossed that some data is retrievable
