I need some help as this is really beginning to wind me up now.
My mums boss has just purchased 4 new computers all with Vista Home Premium and has asked me to set up all the email accounts on all the machines.
Not a problem I thought, a quick half hour job. So got all the login details, entered all them correctly into "Windows Mail" and I am unable to connect to the server.
OK I thought, I will disable Norton to see if that is blocking anything, still no joy so I downloaded thunderbird to see if that would work, still nothing.
So I logged back in on the old xp pro machines and it works no problem with the same credentials.
I have checked google and people recommend uninstalling Norton which I did and it still didn't work so if anyone has any advice it is greatly appreciated.
Sensible answer: Windows Mail is seriously flaky I have found. Get hold of Outlook, outlook express or even thunderbird for mail as it's a lot more reliable.

No mine worked like a dream, I just found it didn't offer what I wanted like Office 2007 and I use that as well. I was going to see if I could help in any way.
