Want to create some web videos
Hi All, as part of my new sites design, I want to add some videos.
Basically, I have a screen recorder allready, but I need a program (free or cheapish  ) to be able to add simple effects, sound and pictures (preferably easy to use too). I need to be able to import my .avi screen recorded videos into to it too.Can anyone suggest a good program? Thanks, Ben

I use Camtasia, which has a lot of built in functions, and i think is free, if not very cheap

Sorry, I wasn't really clear enough, I have a screen recorder all ready.
What I am after is a program to edit videos e.t.c Thanks for the links though

Amongst the "free or cheap" is of course Windows Movie Maker. It's an able tool for simple stuff but is quite limited.
Adobe Premiere Elements as the little brother of Adobe Premiere is pretty good, another worth considering for a basic but capable tool for your requirement is Serif MoviePlus 5. If you have the skills to use them (which I am sure from what you have said you do) quite a lot can be achieved with these tools, but if you need any further assistance by all means PM me. Peter
