Simple link ad code for V.Bulletin?

Wasted rather a lot of time this weekend trying to figure out how to put a simple ad underneath the banner of a V.Bulletin (upgraded to 3.7.2) forum to zero avail.

Uploaded a plugin off V.Bulletin's help site, but for the life of me can't get it to work.

Does anyone have, or can they point me in the direction of something idiot proof that would allow me to place one simple linking ad back to the site the forum is connected with, that appears on every page?

I've just been playing around with our new forum. There are actually specically set up 'ad locations' in vB - all you need do is add the code:

Style Manager> Edit Templates> Ad Location Templates

You'll want "ad_header_logo" but I think that adds it opposite the forum banner (if that's on the left of your forum). You could try <P> or <br> or whatever it is - then the add code - not sure.

Indeed - the old method was to go to Admin > Styles > Templates > Navigation and Breadcrumb templates > Navigation

and just paste into the footer.

But as Eagle points out, it's now build in as ad templates.
