Total Choice Hosting.

Until today I would have sung their praises BUT when I went to my site this morning there is just a message saying my site has been suspended (how's that for telling customers you don't pay bills). I checked my billing account and nothing owing, my site has no adult content and I have used a very small part of my bandwidth. I went to their "24/7 live chat" and it was offline ..... maybe they have more than 24 hours in a day!!!!!

I finally just got the techi people who said there is nothing wrong with the site or server but the billing people have suspended the account and I will have to wait another 3 hours until their department opens at 10am their time to find out why.

I have had no email notification warning me it was to be suspended or to say it had been suspended.... zero, nothing nada ... they just switched me off ..... their customer service sucks.

So stay away from Total Choice Hosting ........ I am LIVID to say the least.

Have been back home for a month and trying to concentrate on marketing Al. Am in London today and fly home tomorrow. A1 is just so addictive I never get anything done so have stayed away while back home ...... have missed you guys so much

So a month of marketing and now no site. What am I gonna do?

There is one other reason for a hosting suspension and that is someone has made accusations of spamming....these days hosts are very twitchy about that.

However failure to tell you - whatever the reason - is out of order

One great piece of advice is keep your domain names with a separate company from your host, then in minutes you can load a backup and be up and running on another host if the worst comes to the worst

And it is possible for rogues to make email look as if it is coming from another domain!

The domain is registered through Easily so we should be able to shift Sally quite simply.

If the host was doing their job correctly the would have spotted forged/spoofed email if that is the case.

Hi Phil

I have emailed Mum for the login for that. Will wait the next 2 hours and see what they say but if no joy I will need your help, am soooo angry.

I don't even send emails from the site, I use my google email to send out newsletters just so I can't be accused of spamming.

I wonder if a competitor is getting worried? But I just can't believe they didn't email us something ... anything by way of warning or explanation.
