Default netgear wpn824ext

How can I prove that my netgear booster is doing it's job, because the speed showing on my wireless laptop connection(54mbps) is the same as it was before I installed the booster. According to the blurb it should be 10 times faster. Any answers please.

What adapter are you using on your pc or laptop as if its a 54mps pci card or built in adpater then you will only recieve that speed

yeah simon is right - you can only fo as fast as the card in the machine!

you might need to upgrade to a 108mbps connection on your laptop
