Wordpress guru needed!

HELP ME!!!!

im having real problems getting my post by email function to work properly on my wordpress site. Im trying to get it to post from my mobile for use when i do a two week cycle ride.

I can post text ok, but it wont attach the images properly, i just get error messages, i only have just over a week to sort it.

Anyone??

it posts the text, then followed by the error, i can try one then paste it here. I think its something to do with the way the attachment is handled. Im using the postmaster plugin and in that you specify a directory for the images to be stored, the images never actually appear there, hence they cant be put in the message, i just cant figure out why the images dont get uploaded to the server.

ok, here is a typical error message from a test post i made from the mobile.

--EPOC32-9mk5RXmpbzl5z9MWCf_Dk_6S69pn4mNFP+FjG,WsrCP6DQ61Co ntent-Type: application/octet-streamContent-Disposition: attachment; filename="test photo.jpg"Content-Transfer-Encoding: base64

It places the above text in the body of the message straight after the text of the message.

By the looks of the headers posted itts nt recognising it as an image due to it being an octen stream rather than a jpeg

thats what i was guessing at, its the way the email service is handling the attachment.

Any ideas what i can do with it to fix?

is it an image your taking on your phone and wish to submit to your blog?

yes, during the ride i will be doing a daily diary and i want to include pics ive taken during the day.

i'll try emailing from a pc, see what that does, it may prove whether its the mobile side or the server side thats got the problem, although i suspect it will be the mobile side.

OK, I presume you have access to your wordpress files...

in your /wp-content/plugins/postmaster directory rename postmaster.php to postmaster.php.BCK

Download this zip file: http://www.cpsdirect.co.uk/postmaster.zip

Extract the file to your desktop and upload it to your site in the /wp-content/plugins/postmaster directory and try that...
