Is this for personal or business? If in a networked office I would go for Outlook.
I also use Outlook for my business email even though it just one home PC. One feature i use quite a bit is the contacts to easily create mailshots in word/excel.
However it might be overkill so perhaps run with Mail until you really need Outlook, by then microsoft may have released a new version saving you having to upgrade.
