Default Laptops! Laptops! Laptops!

Hiya Guy's

Sorry I havent had much time to do some IT related no sales orientated posting work has been sooooo busy.

Laptops........

What I would like to know is what you look for in a laptop, I recently provided a school with 32 Laptops and I really couldnt understand the purchases motives for choosing the laptops that they did, no 1 these laptops are for junior's aged 6-11 and the choose was a laptop that weighed in at a heafty 2.98kg with a 17 inch screen, now the first thing I said was is this a desktop replacment and the arnswer was no lol,
Me personally I chose a laptop with a high end processor medium sized hard drive but it had to be leighweight as its being used for mobility ect, but im curious about what made you choose your laptop was it the look or spec but did the weight ever come into the equasion.

I look foward to hearing from you but remember to arnswer my poll,

Simon,

Think you have missed out on a vital area of your poll

PRICE

i chose my laptop based on price....not the best way to choose i admit but as it is only a back up machine and sits in its bag for 99% of the time i chose on price

Alistairs laptops all get trashed. They spend their life on the front seat of the van, sliding around on the floor, and frequently getting dropped and stood on. Therefore he has a top budget of £300! All he needs is wifi and IE.
