AS above really. I've wanted an apple for ages, and finally decided to go for one.
Basically it will be used for checking emails, some light design work and producing podcasts e.t.c I'll also be using the mac to write my first book
But I dont know whether to buy the cheapest macbook, in white, or the cheapest iMac.
I like the idea of been able to go portable with the macbook, but I rarely do, but then the iMac has better value for money. Its also alot bigger, and can be stored away less easy.
To be honest if all your going to be doing is sending emails , LIGHT design work and creating podcasts then why go for a mac at all, a good quality pc or laptop is more than capable of the above and hell of a lot more chap so when your taking a break from writing a book or designing a webpage you can spend a hour on Call Of Duty 4 or Halo 3 chap, lol

yh I know, but I just really love the design and style of the macbook.
I dont play games ever, so thats not much of an issue. Do you have any thoughts on the imac simon? What about any windows laptops (preferably on vista business or XP pro) at CPL?
