Wow, this is an interesting thread. I think I'd be very uncomfortable if I thought my browsing was being monitored at work...
We have a couple of general browsing PCs for non-desk staff in the staff room. We're allowed to do pretty much what we want on those, within reason of course, during break periods. But I don't think anyone would get away with spending half their day surfing.
Do many of you use this type of monitoring software at work?
Like most things in life mate, the minority spoil it for the majority.
I work in schools so you can understand our use of the tools, keeps the kids on task.

yeah, meader 83, i do recommend you introduce a proxy server where you can filter
what site you want your employees go and which ones you want them to see.
