A little something we've been working on for our use, and the use of our subby drivers. But I thought I'd make it public cos it might just help someone and might bring our main site, abit more weight in google (you never know)
I don't really want to make this part of our main site, before anybody suggests it.
PS I know it's not pretty, it was designed to help people that work for us, not as a public resource, but when I get time I might try and make it prettier.
I've asked petrol prices for permission to scrap their diesel price, and included that, and make the costs more dynamic, but unfortunately they haven't responded yet.
We use it for quick answer, and our subbies use it for quick costings.
Any same day driver, that is anywhere near worth using, can find his way to most towns in the UK (and most have sat navs), the last mile is where they need a bit of guidance. This just gives them a quick distance\fuel cost. The maps are really just a bonus.
If you want to know how to get somewhere this isn't for you, it's really just for pricing jobs, but I thought some folks might find it useful outside our line of work.
Dragonfly - can we use it in Boxby? A nice little resource to help explain to customers that £200 to take a sofa from plymouth to Aberdeen is really quite a good price.
No warranties as really it was written for internal use, but I thought it might be useful, so I thought for the sake for 4.99 for the domain make it public.
I entered Bexley (where I live) to Ashford, a journey I need to make tomorrow. I thought it might ask me to choose between Ashford, Kent, and Ashford, Middx. Actually it assumed I wanted to go to Ashford in the Water, which is apparently in Derbyshire.

M20...until you hit masses of Roadworks...turn left past Sainsbury's until reaching really confusing previously one way massive roundabout that circles Ashford, that is now two ways in parts...drive round until you run out of fuel!
There you go mate
Edit. If you do need any help Kent Tiger, I know Ashford fairly well (new road layouts aside) and may be able to help if you want to PM me.

You can enter post codes instead of town names then you are sure of getting the correct place.
