IE8 Beta testing

Hi guys

anyone on here testing their sites for the launch of IE8?

if so, (we have just relaunched mlg in compliant mode...in the signature), can anyone enlighten me as to how on earth we stop the welcome tab opening everytime I launch the blimming thing.

It launches 2 tabs even when I am emulating IE7

I have tried everything....
