Wordpress 2.6 error - assistance requested
On a blog I am getting the following error when you click on the links to take you to the blog post;
Sorry no pages matching your request were found Clicking the title, or the calendar, or the trackbacks causes this error. This cannot be so as the permalinks are not changed in any way, the majority of tags are working as I woudl expect them to. I am using Wordpress 2.6 Is anyone else having the same problem? Can anyone volunteer their services to assist in fixing this?

Have you changed your URL in the blog settings at all?
we got this when we tried to have index.php as opposed to top level set up (if you see our blog you will know what I mean  ) as the blog url.

It's a recognised bug in 2.6. Log into your WP admin area and go to:
Setting > Permalinks At the bottom under Optional enter /category in the category base field and /tag in the tag base field. Save and you should be fine...

No worries. To be fair, when I upgraded my blog to 2.6 not so long ago it took me an hour to find the flipping solution
